A grey pear. This is Cortez.

Cortez has the prettiest light icy grey stone. A mostly translucent fancy rose cut diamond. The third photo was taken outside in the natural sunlight. I made her setting out of a clay like wax to give her an earthy feel. Her natural diamond is 6.72mm x 5.45mm at the widest, weighs .88cts. and her band is about 1.3 - 1.4mm wide. I cast Cortez in 18k gold and gave her a matte finish. She is a stacking ring and has an open back.

I select each stone individually, some may have tiny imperfections but they are so sweet and lovely to me, it reminds me of the journey they've been through.
