Textured gold band. This is Goat.

She is a rustic 18k gold band. Goat is about 2mm wide and about 1.3 - 1.4mm thick. I made her out of a clay like wax to give her a rough porous earthy feel. Although she is quite simple I chose to make a mold of her in wax and cast her using the lost wax method. I love the subtle softness that the wax forms which is difficult for me to achieve using gold wire. Goat's texture makes the gold have a little shimmer in the light.
