Minimal engagement ring. Charcoal grey diamond. Gerta

This is Gerta.

She is simple and walks to the beat of her own drum. A bit geometric but still wonky and earthy. Her stone is a slightly translucent dark charcoal grey, almost like a faded black. Gerta's bezel is unevenly carved and placed a little lopsided on the her flat and squared off band as I like things that are a little off. I made her out of a clay like wax to give her a rough earthy feel. Her natural rose cut diamond is 4mm, weighs .22cts. and her band is about 1.65mm wide. I cast Gerta in 18k yellow gold and gave her a rustic finish, she is made as a stacking ring.

I select each stone individually, some may have tiny imperfections but they are so sweet and lovely to me, it reminds me of the journey they've been through.
