Four stone diamond ring. Rose cut. 18k. José

This is José.

A pretty four stone ring. I made José's wax model with an opening behind each diamond and cast it in gold. I placed the stones in the bezels and it made a pattern in the diamonds which I didn't like too much. I decided to make José again and this time I left the backs closed and I love it. One of the stones sometimes looks a little yellow. José is made out of a clay like wax to give her an earthy feel. Each rose cut diamond measures 2.5-2.65mm, weighs about .18cts total and her band is about 1.25 - 1.35mm wide. I cast her in 18k gold and gave her a rustic shiny finish. She is made as a stacking ring.

I select each stone individually, some may have tiny imperfections but they are so sweet and lovely to me, it reminds me of the journey they've been through.
